American Museum of Natural History

We went to American Museum of Natural History. We came off the subway and knew exactly which way to go with the help of the walls. 

We first explored a section about space, rock formation then walked though various animal and plant dioramas.  Knowing Lucien would get tired we tried to hit sections of high interest. We spent some time in the Hall of Ocean Life. 

 We enjoyed looking at minerals and gems. 

 

These are some really big quartz! Much bigger than those we pick up on the playground.  

 

Oh the excitement as we began to see fossils. The reason for the day was close... to see dinosaurs.  

 

This is a big bone. Lucien just had to touch it.  

 

Wow it's a T-Rex. We are soooo excited about seeing this.

The stegosaurus has always been Jill's favorite dinosaur.   

 

Those are some big foot prints.  

 

As we left we went though the regular entrance which we did not get to use earlier this fossil was amazing to view.
