I woke up to a beautiful basket and flowers as well as a sweet card from Steven and Lucien. We yesterday to go see Captain America at the Alamo Drafthouse. We enjoyed milkshakes, pizza, margaritas and of course popcorn.

Mother's Day
We spent mother's day at The Griffith Observatory. This place is great because the Hollywood sign is seen with ease and a great view of LA can also be taken in. Then once inside the FREE you get to watch a pendulum show how the Earth is turning, exhibits about seasons, images of the sun and astrological artifacts. We took Lucien to see a planetarium show. He was excited to learn about the stars in the sky and was curious what our favorite constellations.
For lunch we headed to The Original Farmers Market to look around at fun shops and restaurants. We ended up eating at a Greek restaurant.
It was a lovely day!
