London to Paris on Eurostar

Our morning to the train was going quite smooth, but apparently a train broke down making our routes backlogged. We QUICKLY decided to take a taxi, but first needed to find the taxi que. Once we did it was an easy ride to the train station in London.

We passed through security and got our passports stamped and reviewed.
Then we waited for boarding.
Looking for our train car.

When we arrived in Paris we were quite excited to find our place we were staying was just a short walk.

Walk around London

Wow it was amazing to walk out of the tube and see Big Ben. It has such detail! We even got to hear it chime. On the grounds below we saw some police helping a mother duck and her ducklings jump a curb.

We then walked through Parliament Square Which has many statues of people known to bring peace or for leadership. This allowed us to get a good look at Westminster Abbey.

We then kept walking to Buckingham Palace.

Since this is a working vacation we headed back to the B & B to complete some work and get ready for our train trip the next day. We did stop for dinner at Rice Palace.

Summer Travel Begins

We have been planning our trip we begin today for months! It is so hard to believe it is really starting. Huge thanks to AnneMarie for taking us to the airport very early.

It is so hard to believe we start it today. Huge thanks to AnneMarie for taking us to the airport very early. Our ride to Newark was easy. Loud kid behind us with a dad unaware of how annoying this is at 6:35 am We took the trains to New York and had lunch before making our way to JFK.  On Saturday British Airways changed our flight to JFK this was not the original plan , but we had the most of it and stopped for lunch.

The flight over was looking nag as expected. We each slept some but not enough. The line for check boarder was quite longer than usual according to Functional the girl checking and stamping our passports.

We navigated our way to our Bed and Breakfast place. We were lucky to be allowed to check in early. We did take a small rest and cleaned up before going out for dinner.
