Santa

The weather was beautiful and the lines were short this afternoon as we visited with Santa.

Snow!

After a long day at work and school we decided to go out to eat in Bee Caves. We saw some snowflake flurries earlier in the day. We enjoyed our food and were quite excited to emerge from the restaurant to find a blanket of snow.

Halloween Fun

Lucien wanted to be Dracula for Halloween and he got to wear his costume to school. 

At the end of the day at school they had Halloween Treats and spooky science experiments. 

That evening he put on the Halloween makeup and set out to get candy.

 It began to rain, but we still had fun!

We cut our pumpkin. I even got to use the knife!

Favorite Football Pictures

Football was full of learning experiences. Lucien got to meet kids from all over Lake Travis and had enjoyed watching the junior coaches play their own games at the high school on Thursdays during the Freshman games as well as seeing them support the varsity team on Fridays.

Summer Reading

City Museum

We have friends who are from St. Louis who have suggested we visit the City Museum. They have told us about it for years.

City Museum

The 10 story slide is a huge draw for all visitors.

So glad we took the time to visit. What an amazing place for young and old to slide, jump, climb and crawl while exploring recycled everyday objects made into something for the propose of fun.

 Seeing gems of buildings was also quite exciting. How often can you see a chimney or top of a building up close?

Cardinals Game 2

Our seats for Game 2 was on the other side of the stadium for the 1st base side.

 It was also a later game, so we were not as hot! Atmosphere was still great and we had a blast enjoying the game.
