Here are the states we visited.

Day 8: Homeward Bound

The game from last night was postponed for today. We could of stuck around, but worried that our cat Holley might be running low on food, so we set out for our long trip back to Texas. This decision was helped because we getting a voucher for later this season or next. We liked St. Louis, so we will take them up on that offer for another day and look forward to our next visit.

We arrived home around 1:00 AM!

Day 7: St. Louis

We got into St. Louis late yesterday, so when went to lunch we got to see downtown!

It was neat to go over the Mississippi river. 

Seeing the arch in person was great!

We went to lunch at Hodak's and had some yummy chicken. 

As we were leaving the restaurant it began to rain, then pour then hail. We pulled over twice to take cover!!

We headed out for the game and found out parking was a breeze as was traffic!

These statues show great ball players from St. Louis.

I was able to get a picture taken with Christian Friedrich a pitcher from the Padres. I was wearing my Padres shirt from my spring baseball season. 

The game got postponed due to storms heading to St. Louis. We again drove threw rain, wind and hail back to the hotel.

Day 6: Lake Fun Before a Drive

Ken made us a wonderful omelet and for lunch we had brats left over from last night. 

They were all so amazing. 

One last boat ride and kayak race before leaving. 

Dad had to take a call in the Bradfield Conference Center.

We then drove to St. Louis. Along the way we drove through South Bend to see Notre Dame. 

Day 5: Lake Fun

We went out on the boat this afternoon after a morning of fishing. Lucien had fun swimming with the Bradfield's. It was too cold for mom or dad!

Later in the day Sydney took some time to teach Lucien how to use a Kayak. 

We made a fire. I sat in the hammuk. 

Day 5 Road Trip: Fishing

Bait Shop

Me, Dad and Ken went to the bait shop. We got worms and I got a slingshot!

I caught 2 more fish. My dad caught 7 fish. Every time he put his pole in he got a bite.

Road trip Day 4: Wrigley Field

On our way to Wrigley Field.

We picked up our tickets then went into the stadium.

Leaving Chicago on our way to see friends in Michigan. 

Made it to the Bradfield's. We were welcomed by our dear friend Amy Bradfield and her dog Bailey and got to stay with Sydney and Ken Bradfield and their dog Lucky at their cottage by the lake!

We went on a ride on the lake once we arrived. Mom got scared when the boat started up in the dark.
